R-Truth Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro R-Truth wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.
Rumors for the Day:
- Fightful Select notes that R-Truth being let go by WWE has been met with “complete shock and disbelief” and top talent disagreeing completely with the decision.
- They also say he’s already got a ton of interest from independent R-Truth promotions the world over.
- Truth himself was caught off guard when WWE called him to inform him his contract would not be renewed, says PW Insider.
- To that end, they also say other WWE stars are rethinking their own contracts with the company, as they believe things are more unstable than they realized and want to get out ahead of any pending contract expiration dates.
- Per Fightful, most of the women’s roster learned of Evolution 2 at the same time everyone else did, and many weren’t thrilled with how it was handled. Some even seem to be against the idea R-Truth of it happening at all.
- Blue Meanie recently refuted word from WrestleVotes saying NXT would run the ECW Arena on Aug. 19, claiming he called and was told it’s not happening.
