Pronounced FEINGAL – The Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coast between Parakarikal and Mahabalipuram will experience winds reaching a speed of 70-80 kmph near Puducherry, gusting to 90 kmph, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

Schools and colleges will remain closed in Chennai, Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu, Tiruvallur, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Kallakurichi, and Mayiladuthurai districts in Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry today.
