Tesla chief Elon Musk and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy have announced recruitment for the new DoGE (Department of Government Efficiency) department of the US government. This information has been given on social media X.
A post from the official X handle of DoGE says, “They are looking for people who have super high IQ.
They are looking for people who can work more than 80 hours a week. If anyone has these qualities, they can send their resume in the DoGE message.”
After winning the election for the second time, Donald Trump has started this department to eliminate government bureaucracy and save government money.
Trump said that the DoGE department will work till July 4, 2026. This new system will create panic among those who waste government money.
Musk said that the DoGE’s operations will be posted online to bring transparency to the system. Information will be provided separately on which foolish schemes are being spent on public tax money.
Musk said about DoGE that he would be able to reduce government spending by at least $2 trillion (168 lakh crore) through the new department.
Although some experts are calling it impossible. According to the Washington Post, Musk will only be able to do this if he cuts important programs like the defense budget or Social Security.
