This blast took place in the RK branch section of the factory. According to news agency PTI, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has informed about the death of 8 people.
Pictures of the blast in the factory are also coming out, in which it can be seen that pieces of heavy weapons-making equipment are scattered around. After the blast, black smoke can be seen rising far into the sky. At the same time, it is being told that after the blast, a fire broke out in the factory, which is likely to have engulfed many people.
Police teams are present at the spot and are engaged in relief and rescue work. The injured are being taken to the hospital with the help of ambulances. People say that the sound of the explosion was so loud that there was panic in the area and people started running here and there. A huge crowd of local people has gathered at the spot, which is helping in saving people.
CM Devendra assured all possible help
It is reported that 13 to 14 employees were trapped after the roof collapsed in an explosion at an ordnance factory in Bhandara district. Five of them have been rescued safely. The District Collector and Superintendent of Police are at the spot and all kinds of assistance is being provided. SDRF and Nagpur Municipal Corporation teams have also been called for rescue operations and they will reach soon. The district administration is involved in rescue operations in coordination with the defense forces. Teams have also been kept ready for medical assistance.

Congress has attacked the BJP-led NDA government over the Bhandara ordinance factory blast. Nana Patole said that this blast shows the failure of the Modi government.
14 employees were present in the factory
The blast took place between 10:30 and 10:45 am on Friday (24 January). At that time 14 workers were working in the factory. Four to five people have been rescued in a seriously injured condition. Apart from the officials of the Ordnance Factory, fire brigade and police officials are also present at the spot and rescue operations are underway.
