Noel Tata has now been elected chairman of Tata Trust. A big decision was taken in the board meeting. Sir Ratan Tata and Sir Dorabji Tata were active on the board of the trust. Both of these trusts together hold 50% stake in Tata Sons. During the Mumbai meeting, Noel Tata was elected chairman of Tata and was given the authority to run all the companies of the Tata Group.
The biggest trust of the Tata Group company is Tata Trust. The person noel tata runs this trust gets a turnover of 34 lakh crores. Ratan Tata’s brother has been elected as the noel tata chairman of Tata Trust. The biggest and most important company of Tata Trust is Tata Sons. Ratan Tata Trust and Dorab Tata Trust have the biggest assets of Tata Sons. Such meetings keep happening so that the chairman of Tata Trust can handle the Tata Group. In 2017, Natarajan Chandrasekhar was elected as the new chairman of Tata Sons. Then in 2018, Vijay Singh and Venu Srinivasan were elected as the vice chairman of Tata Trust.

Who is Noel Tata, the new chairman of Tata Sons ?

Ratan Tata’s father, noel tata, married Simone Dunoyer for the second time. The son of this couple is Naval Tata. He is Ratan Tata’s stepbrother. Ratan Tata’s real brother Jimmy lives in a two-bed room in Coba. Both the brothers have no interest in business. Ratan Tata has not married, so Naval Tata is the heir of the company. He has 3 children: 2 daughters and 1 son. These three handle different responsibilities in the Tata company.

About Tata Group

Tata Trust holds 66% of the shares of Tata Sons. As per the Articles of Association of Tata Sons, the decision to transfer 57 or 61 shares is final. As per the rules, the shares cannot be transferred without the approval of Tata Sons.
