Operation Sindoor Live Updates: The world must show zero tolerance for terrorism, says Jaishankar

Operation News Live Updates: In a measured military response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives, including one Nepali national, India launched targeting nine terror infrastructure sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK), the ministry of defence said.

The operation was described as precised and restrained, with strikes specifically aimed at locations involved in planning cross-border terrorism. “No Pakistani military facilities were targeted, underscoring India’s non-escalatory intent,” the ministry said in a statement.

The government called the action a clear message to those behind the Pahalgam attack while maintaining a calibrated approach to avoid unnecessary provocation.
