Dolphins welcomed Sunita Williams for the first time on Earth

Everyone’s lives were lost after the 7-minute contact was lost, Trump said – we did it; The craft landed in the sea at 3:27 am

Indian-American astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore have returned to Earth after 9 months and 14 days. They are accompanied by two other astronauts of Crew-9, American Nick Hague and Russian Alexander Gorbunov. Their Dragon spacecraft landed in the Florida sea at 3:27 am IST on March 19.

The four astronauts left the International Space Station (ISS) on Tuesday (March 18). When the spacecraft entered the Earth’s atmosphere, its temperature exceeded 1650 degrees Celsius. During this time, communication was lost for about 7 minutes.

It took 17 hours to return to Earth from the space station.

The Dragon capsule took about 17 hours to separate from the sea and land. At 8:35 a.m. on March 18, the spacecraft hatched, meaning the door closed. At 10:35 a.m., the spacecraft separated from the ISS.

The deorbit burn began at 2:41 a.m. on March 19. That is, the spacecraft’s engine was fired in the opposite direction from orbit. This caused the spacecraft to re-enter Earth’s atmosphere and splash down in the water off the coast of Florida at 3:27 a.m.

Went on an 8-day mission, but it took over 9 months

Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore went on an 8-day joint Boeing and NASA ‘Crew Flight Test Mission’. The mission was intended to test the ability of Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft to carry astronauts to and from the space station.

The astronauts also had to conduct research and several experiments during their 8 days on the space station. But after a problem with the thruster, their 8-day mission was extended to more than 9 months.
