Trump to impose 25% tariff on steel and aluminum imports: New order will apply to all countries, to be announced today

Trump said- I am serious about making Canada an American state

US President said during an interview on Sunday that he is serious about making Canada the 51st state of America. Fox News Channel’s Bret Beyer asked Trump if his intention to make Canada an American state was genuine?

In response to this, US President agreed and said, “Yes, that’s true.” He said,

I think Canada would be better off as the 51st state, because we are losing $200 billion a year with Canada. And I will not let that happen.

Trudeau also said – Trump is serious, he wants to seize resources

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau held a closed-door meeting with business and labor organizations on Friday, February 7. During the meeting, he called Trump’s desire to merge Canada with the United States “serious.” According to a CBC report, Trudeau said,

“Trump wants to take over Canada’s natural resources. In US President mind, the easiest way to do this is to take over our country. My conversation with him made me realize that he is well aware of our resources and wants to take advantage of them.”
